Delicious Trail Dolomiti
The Delicious Trail Dolomiti, organised by the Amateur Sports Association L5T Sport, will take place on 24 September in one of the most beautiful places in Cortina d’Ampezzo.
A trail race with a high-altitude route of 43 km through the largest open-air museum of the Great War in the Dolomites. It was here, that the battles between the Italian and Austro-Hungarian armies took place, evidence of which can be seen at the Lagazuoi Museum and Gallery and at the 5 Torri Museum.
Newcomers to the trail will be able to take part in the Short Delicious Trail Dolomiti, which provides a shorter route, while for children and young people (aged 4 to 12) there is the Mini Delicious Trail.
What makes these competitions very special is always the focus on the local area, which is reflected in the dishes prepared by the chefs.
Delicious Climbing Dolomites
Another event will also take place on 24 September, the non-competitive Delicious Climbing Dolomiti competition, a climbing festival attracting many enthusiasts.
This is an open-air event in couples (roped pairs) that involves a points system and takes place on selected routes in the 5 Torri: children from 12 years of age can also take part if accompanied by an adult.
The event is now in its fourth year, made possible by the ongoing efforts of the L5T Amateur Sports Association in cooperation with the Cortina Mountain Guide Group.
