From August 27 to September 6, 2025, the Lido of Venice once again became the stage for the Venice International Film Festival, now in its 82nd edition. Every year, this event transforms the lagoon into the world capital of cinema, attracting directors, actors, journalists, and film lovers from all over the globe.
Between international premieres, dazzling red carpets, and encounters with stars, the Festival has once again proven to be much more than a film showcase: it is an experience that combines art, culture, and glamour in a truly unique setting.
The Most Anticipated Films and Great Masters
The 2025 program brought to the Lido works from some of the most beloved directors:
- Yorgos Lanthimos presented Bugonia, starring the brilliant Emma Stone.
- Guillermo del Toro captivated audiences with Frankenstein, a dark and visionary reimagining.
- Park Chan-wook introduced No Other Choice, a refined thriller.
- Paolo Sorrentino, with La Grazia, opened the Festival, blending poetry and spirituality.
