The Cortina-Dobbiaco Run<\/strong> is a running race that takes place every year in June<\/strong> in the beautiful setting of the Dolomites. The race is very popular with sports and mountain lovers, especially because of the special nature of the route<\/strong>, which is both flat and uphill, through tunnels, suspended bridges and alpine lakes, and is always accompanied by the beautiful backdrop of the Dolomites, until the finish line at Dobbiaco, in the beautiful park of the Grand Hotel<\/strong>, with the three peaks of Lavaredo in the background. A piece of trivia related to this competition? It was created by Gianni Poli, an Italian winner of the New York marathon<\/strong> in 1986, who discovered the <\/span>course during his training and decided to turn it into a real competition.<\/span><\/p>\n From 16 to 19 June<\/strong> the 55th International Curling Tournament <\/strong><\/span>will take place in Cortina at the Olympic Ice Stadium<\/strong>. From 23 to 26 June<\/strong>, all attention will be focused on the famous “Lut<\/strong><\/em>” Lavaredo Ultra Trail 2022<\/strong>, a challenging night race in an alpine environment of 120 kilometres<\/strong>, which winds its way uphill and over a positive altitude difference of 5,800 metres. The route is identified with the EE label<\/strong>, Experienced Hikers<\/em>, due to the difficulty of some sections, which are very exposed and have a considerable height difference.<\/span><\/p>\n Half of the participants come from abroad and the number of registered participants exceeds 1,500. This is a restricted race, where high physical and sporting standards are required<\/strong>, as well as scores from previous races. A medical certificate and suitable technical clothing are required, as temperatures can drop below freezing at night.<\/span><\/p>\n For those who love alpine competitions but prefer to try their hand at something simpler, the Cortina Skyrace<\/strong>, which takes place on 23 June 2022<\/strong>, is the ideal solution. <\/span><\/p>\n Cortina is easily accessible from the most important Italian cities, both by private and public transport. ATVO buses<\/a> depart from Venice<\/strong>, Piazzale Roma and Marco Polo Airport<\/strong>. Per cui decise di partire per la guerra, in modo da ottenere gloria e onori e una volta ritornato a Venezia poter sposare la sua amata.\r\n\r\nDurante le battaglie Tancredi si distinse per il suo coraggio e valore e le sue gesta arrivarono ben presto a Venezia, con Vulcana che aspettava ansiosa il suo ritorno. Purtroppo un giorno, durante una battaglia con i Mori di Spagna fu ferito a morte e, cadendo su un roseto il suo sangue tinse di rosso un bocciolo di rosa, che prima di morire consegn\u00f2 al suo amico Orlando, chiedendogli di consegnarlo alla sua Vulcana come pegno d\u2019amore.\r\n\r\nIl giorno successivo alla consegna di questo bocciolo, precisamente il 25 aprile, Maria fu trovata morta nel suo letto, con il bocciolo intriso del sangue del suo amato sul petto; da allora il bocciolo divenne per i veneziani il simbolo di un amore imperituro.<\/strong>\r\n
