The International Art Exhibition<\/strong> returns to Venice<\/strong> from 23 April to 27 November 2022<\/strong>. This is the 59th edition and is curated by Cecilia Alemani.<\/span><\/p>\n The Art Biennale<\/strong><\/em> is one of the most famous and prestigious cultural institutions in the world and is held every two years in Venice, between the Giardini<\/strong> and the Arsenale<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n Each edition follows a specific theme and the theme for 2022<\/strong> is “The Milk of Dreams – Il latte dei Sogni<\/em>“, which takes its title from a book of fairy tales by Leonora Carrington<\/strong>, as Cecilia Alemani<\/strong>, curator of this year’s Art Biennale, explains. “How is the definition of human changing?<\/strong> What are the differences that separate the plant, the animal, the human and the non-human? What are our responsibilities towards our fellow human beings, other life forms and the planet we inhabit? And what would life be like without us?<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n These are among the questions leading this Biennale Arte, whose research focuses in particular on three themed areas: the representation of bodies and their metamorphoses; the relationship between individuals and technologies; the links between bodies and the Earth<\/strong>.<\/em>“<\/span><\/p>\n The Biennale Arte 2022 is an excellent opportunity to treat yourself to a visit to Venice<\/strong>. A day to visit the entire exhibition is certainly enough to enjoy it at a steady pace; if you want to pamper yourself with a stay in Venice, it is definitely advisable to divide it into two days and enjoy a <\/span>stroll through the calli, an aperitif at sunset or a Venetian cicchetti for dinner.<\/span><\/p>\n Venice can therefore be reached by train<\/strong>, getting off at the Venice Santa Lucia station, or by taking advantage of the ATVO<\/a> bus service<\/strong>, which connects Venice<\/strong> to the nearby airports of Venice<\/em><\/a> and Treviso<\/em><\/a>, as well as to the main cities of eastern Veneto, including the seaside resorts on the coast<\/em><\/a>. A traditional venue for the Art Exhibitions of the Biennale since the first edition, the Giardini are located towards the eastern edge of Venice<\/strong> and were created by Napoleon in the early 19th century.
