You may not know, but beyond the Ponte di Libert\u00e0 there is another side of Venice, Mestre and the mainland seem to be a city apart but in reality they are part of the same municipality.<\/span><\/p>\n

Its proximity to Venice and the fact that it is easily accessible by public transport make Mestre one of the destinations for an off-route excursion.<\/span><\/p>\n

M9, Mestre and its Museum of the 20th century: the project<\/h3>\n

The Museum was born in the historic center of Mestre, its architecture, unlike that of classic places used to host exhibitions, was designed outside the box<\/strong>, its imposing spaces are suitable for hosting events, caf\u00e9s, art galleries and shops.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, this is not the only thing that makes this museum anti-conventional<\/strong>, it doesn’t even have a real collection. What can you see then inside the museum?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition aims to portray a century full of contradictions<\/strong>, marked by two world wars and by the greatest technological innovations in human history.<\/span><\/p>\n

The museum is absolutely original in proposing a journey that through augmented reality and other means manages to involve the viewer in the history of this century<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

M9, Mestre and its Museum of the 20th century:<\/b> how to reach it<\/b><\/h3>\n

As we said before, Mestre is perfectly connected to the center of Venice and to the Tessera airport, but how exactly can it be reached?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you arrive from the Marco Polo airport, you can easily reach the exhibition via the ATVO Venice Airport Bus Express<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

From Venice, instead, you can get by Tram or Urban Bus from Piazzale Roma<\/strong> while more sporty can rent a bike through the Bike Sharing solution offered by the Municipality of Venice<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

M9, Mestre and its Museum of the 20th century: timetables and costs<\/h3>\n

From 1 October to 30 April, from Monday to Friday, the museum will be open from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm<\/strong>, on weekends and on public holidays from 10.00 to 18.00<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ticket price includes only the permanent exhibition, but with a couple of euros more you can also visit the temporary exhibition in progress. <\/span><\/p>\n

Questa collezione rappresenta\u00a0una delle pi\u00f9 importanti d\u2019arte giapponese del Periodo Edo in Italia<\/strong>, le sue sezioni espongono vari tipi di manufatti e opere d\u2019arte che vanno dalle eleganti porcellane fino alle stampe.\r\n
