Placed on Lido isle, the legend tells the story that\u00a0Henry Ford,<\/strong>\u00a0very fond of this sport, was the one to suggest its building in this city around the beginning of the 1920s.\u00a0The count Giuseppe Volpe of Misurata<\/strong>\u00a0spotted the right place to have a massive golf club built at the south end of the island of Lido, next to the mouth of\u00a0Malamocco harbour<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At first, only 9 holes were designed, but in the second year their number\u00a0had already grown up to 72<\/strong>. The Circolo Golf Venezia saw many stand up people of the XX centuries strolling around its lawns, such as\u00a0Adolf Hitler, Henry Cotton and Benito Mussolini<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the golf club is right next to one of the areas\u00a0protected by WWF<\/strong>, inside which it\u2019s possible to spot the local fauna and flora including some close to extinction species, while relaxing and wandering around.<\/p>\n

Sport a Venezia: Golf<\/h3>

Se ami il golf<\/strong> e stai progettando una vacanza a Venezia non puoi rinunciare a qualche tiro nel Circolo golf Venezia<\/strong><\/u><\/a>. Situato nell'isola del Lido, la leggenda racconta che Hanry Ford<\/strong>, appassionato di questo sport, all'inizio degli anni '20 ne propose la costruzione anche in questa citt\u00e0. Il conte Giuseppe Volpe di Misurata<\/strong> individu\u00f2 il luogo adatto per la realizzazione di un grande campo da golf all'estremit\u00e0 sud dell'isola del Lido, vicino la bocca di porto di Alamocco<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>

In un primo tempo vennero progettate solo 9 buche ma nel secondo anno vennero messe a disposizione ben 72 buche<\/strong>. Il Circolo Golf Venezia vide nella storia i personaggi di spicco pi\u00f9 importanti del Novecento, come Adolf Hitler, Henry Cotton e Benito Mussolini.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Il centro di golf, inoltre, confina con una delle aree protette del WWF<\/strong> in cui \u00e8 possibile osservare, facendo rilassanti e piacevoli passeggiate, la fauna e la flora del luogo, tra cui alcune specie in via di estinzione.<\/span><\/p>

Sport a Venezia: gli impianti sportivi<\/h3>

A Venezia \u00e8 possibile praticare ogni tipo di sport anche quando si \u00e8 in vacanza! Sono molte le piscine, le palestre e le strutture sportive<\/strong> disseminate nell'incantevole cittadina.<\/span><\/p>
