If you want to have a taste of the\u00a0local community atmosphere<\/b>, you must absolutely pop in at\u00a0Rialto market<\/b>, one of the most ancient in the whole city of Venice. Right close to the same named famous bridge, the market widens between Campo de la Pescaria and the beautiful Campo San Giacometo, within the beating heart of\u00a0Venice\u2019s historic city centre<\/b>.<\/p>\n

It is a lively and dynamic area, made up by small shops, ateliers, butcheries where we had fun getting lost, mingling ourselves with\u00a0many tourists and locals\u00a0<\/b>chock-a-block with grocery shopping bags.<\/p>\n

Between spices scents and fresh fish smell we first-hand experienced the traditional dishes that usually smother the Venetian tables.\u00a0Our mission?<\/b>\u00a0To select and buy the ingredients that could allow us to\u00a0recreate recipes<\/b>\u00a0as authentic as they have always used to be.<\/p>\n

Rialto Market is not only a historic place for Venetian people, but also a place of reference for\u00a0local food and wine culture<\/b>, offering specialities and essential raw materials for preparing\u00a0dishes with a genuine taste<\/a>appreciated by true blue Venetians.<\/p>\n

After stockpiling fresh red mullets, calamari and seasonal vegetables, our\u00a0tour<\/a>\u00a0went on into a historic Venetian palace. And here, guess what,\u00a0we improvised ourselves as chefs of proper Venetian cuisine<\/b>, first cooking and then tasting our own delicacies accompanied by a good glass of wine \u2013never without relevance.<\/p>\n

E\u2019 un luogo molto vivace e dinamico<\/b>, fatto di botteghe, bottegucce, macellerie dove ci siamo divertiti a perderci, mescolandoci ai numerosi turisti e veneziani stracolmi di sportine della spesa. \u00a0Tra un profumo di spezie e l\u2019odore del pesce fresco, abbiamo conosciuto da vicino <\/span>i piatti tradizionali <\/b>che riempiono le tavole dei veneziani. La nostra missione? Selezionare e acquistare gli ingredienti con cui <\/span>ricreare le autentiche ricette<\/b> di una volta.<\/span><\/p>

Il celebre Mercato di Rialto<\/h3>

Il Mercato di Rialto oltre che un luogo storico per i veneziani, \u00e8 un <\/span>punto fermo dell\u2019enogastronomia locale<\/b> che offre specialit\u00e0 e materie prime indispensabili per preparare piatti con sapori veraci<\/a> che piacciono ai veneziani doc. <\/span><\/p>

Dopo aver fatto scorta di triglie vive di scoglio, calamari e verdure di stagione, il nostro giro<\/a> \u00e8 proseguito in uno <\/span>storico palazzo veneziano<\/b>. E qui, indovinate un po?? Ci siamo improvvisati chef della vera cucina veneziana, cucinando e poi assaggiando i manicaretti da noi creati, accompagnati da un buon vino che non pu\u00f2 proprio mai mancare. <\/span><\/p>

Spesso non ci si fa caso, ma per conoscere da vicino la cultura di un paese <\/span>\u00e8 importante fare esperienza diretta<\/b>. Noi non solo abbiamo potuto gustare la cucina veneziana ma l\u2019abbiamo anche preparata <\/span>in prima persona<\/b>, una vera fortuna!<\/span><\/p>
