We learned\u00a0how the glass is modelled and blown<\/strong>, in order to become a proper masterpiece.\u00a0A really unique and unforgettable experience:<\/strong>\u00a0a disclosure of this\u00a0Venetian art<\/a>\u00a0as we had never seen it before.<\/p>\n

The tradition for the manufacturing of this material really falls back into the past:\u00a0it dates back to the XVI century<\/strong>, when the master glass-workers dedicated themselves to honing the shapes of the already existent glass objects.\u00a0Light, fully coloured and simply beautiful,<\/strong>\u00a0they embellished the tables of the aristocrats of that time.<\/p>\n

But how is the glass actually being worked?<\/strong>\u00a0This fascinating material is made of a mixture of silica and sodium carbonate to which the craftsmen add stabilisers, pigments or mattifying substances. All the components melt together at a really high temperature; try to think about it: at around 1400\u00ba!\u00a0There are then two different techniques for working the glass:<\/strong>\u00a0the \u2018perle a lume\u2019 handled with a blowtorch and the \u2018impronta\u2019 handled with a stick.<\/p>\n

Come nasce il famosissimo vetro di Murano?<\/strong><\/p>

Siamo andati a scoprirlo direttamente sul posto, con un tour<\/strong> che ci ha svelato tutti i segreti di questa tecnica di lavorazione artigianale.<\/span><\/p>

Abbiamo imparato come il vetro di Murano viene modellato, soffiato e poi diventa gioiello,<\/strong> un\u2019esperienza davvero unica e indimenticabile: l\u2019arte veneziana<\/a> come non l\u2019avevamo mai vista. <\/span><\/p>

La lavorazione di questo materiale \u00e8 davvero antichissima: risale infatti al XVI secolo<\/a>, quando i mastri vetrai si dedicarono a perfezionare le forme dei manufatti in vetro gi\u00e0 esistenti. Leggeri, colorati e bellissimi, impreziosivano le tavole dei nobili di quel tempo.<\/span><\/p>

Ma come viene lavorato il vetro di Murano<\/strong><\/span>?<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>

Questo affascinante materiale \u00e8 fatto di una miscela di silice e carbonato di sodio<\/strong>, a cui gli artigiani aggiungono stabilizzanti, coloranti o opacizzanti. Le componenti vengono poi fuse ad una temperatura altissima<\/strong>: pensa, ben 1400\u00b0! Ci sono poi due tipi di manipolazione del vetro: perle a lume, fatta con la fiamma ossidrica e all'impronta, che prevede l'uso di una canna.<\/span><\/p>
