In this magnificent area we can distinguish\u00a0different environments<\/strong>, one different from the other, whose extraordinariness we had the privilege of admiring during\u00a0a magic cruise which led us to discover this place.<\/strong>While the placid river waters rocked us gently, all the natural beauties of the Delta swept past our eyes: the countryside with paleochannels, fossil dunes, banks, flood planes, fishing valleys, lagoons \u2026<\/p>\n Thanks to this mini-cruise<\/strong><\/a>, we learned about\u00a0the flora and the fauna of the delta<\/strong>\u00a0and accompanied by our attentive guide Alessandro we went on the discovery of spectacular landscapes that surround\u00a0the two souls of the Po<\/strong>. Yes, because the mouth of the river has two souls!<\/p>\n The Delta, in fact, divides into two parts: a younger called\u00a0Active Delta<\/strong>\u00a0and an older called\u00a0Delta Fossil<\/strong>. Our visit started from the Active Delta which, as its name suggests,\u00a0is the most recent vital territory<\/strong>\u00a0situated in the heart of the Po Delta Interregional Park.<\/p>\n The Active Delta, by the way, has been running since 1604, when the Venetians practiced\u00a0the Porto Viro Cut<\/strong>, the hydraulic work that diverted the Po course to the South. Mentre le placide acque del fiume ci cullavano dolcemente, sono sfrecciate davanti ai nostri occhi tutte le bellezze naturali del Delta<\/strong>: la campagna con i paleoalvei, le dune fossili, gli argini, le golene, le valli da pesca, le lagune\u2026<\/p> Grazie a questa mini crociera, abbiamo conosciuto la flora e la fauna che abitano il Delta<\/strong> e accompagnati dalla nostra attenta guida Alessandro siamo andati alla scoperta dei paesaggi spettacolari che circondano le due anime del Po<\/a><\/u>. S\u00ec, perch\u00e8 la foce del fiume ha 2 anime! <\/strong><\/p> Il Delta, infatti, si suddivide in due parti: una pi\u00f9 giovane detta Delta Attivo<\/strong> e una pi\u00f9 antica chiamata Delta Fossile<\/strong>. La nostra visita \u00e8 cominciata dal Delta Attivo, che come suggerisce il nome \u00e8 il territorio pi\u00f9 recente e vitale situato nel cuore del Parco Regionale Veneto del Delta del Po<\/strong>.<\/p> Il Delta Attivo, pensa, scorre dal 1604<\/strong>, da quando cio\u00e8 i veneziani praticarono il Taglio di Porto Viro<\/strong>, l'opera idraulica che deviava il corso del Po verso sud.
