The lives of all its owners were struck by\u00a0tragic events<\/strong>, no wonder that today it\u2019s uninhabited. Curiosity: in the nineties,\u00a0Woody Allen<\/strong>\u00a0wanted to purchase the property but gave up, due to superstition, maybe?<\/li>\n
  2. Biasio Luganegher<\/b>: the story of Biasio seems like one of\u00a0Tim Burton<\/strong>\u2018s movies. It\u2019s said, in fact, that in Riva di Biasio, near Santa Lucia Station, a butcher lived who, now hear this, used the meat of his poor victims to make his delicious stews. A\u00a0true horror story<\/strong>, don\u2019t you think so?<\/li>\n
  3. Sant\u2019Albano Bottazzo<\/b>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Basilica of San Donato of Murano<\/b>: The legend of Bottazzo dates back to the year 1000. A marble chest was sighted while floating miraculously near Burano. Inside were the remains of three saints, Sant\u2019Orso, San Domenico and Sant\u2019Albano and a barrel from which the wine flowed continuously. The barrel was soon stolen by the inhabitants of the nearby\u00a0island of Murano<\/strong>\u00a0who walled it inside the\u00a0Basilica of San Donato<\/a>. It would be nice to find the magic barrel and have free wine to the bitter end!<\/li>\n
  4. The legend of the Devil\u2019s Bridge<\/b>: Staying on the islands we move to\u00a0Torcello<\/strong>, where it is said that during the Austrian rule a young woman made a deal with the devil to embrace her beloved. The devil was cheated and every\u00a0December 24<\/strong>\u00a0he returns to the bridge in the form of a black cat to settle his debt with the young woman.<\/li>\n
  5. The island of Poveglia<\/b>: We certainly couldn\u2019t miss to rank the most famous island of the entire lagoon infested by the\u00a0ghosts<\/strong>. It is rumored that for centuries the island has been haunted by the ghosts of the plague victims who were confined there. I\u2019m shaking in my boots!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. C\u00e0 Dario<\/a>, il palazzo maledetto: <\/b>superata l\u2019Accademia, in campiello Barbaro troverai questo palazzo quattrocentesco. La sua aura magica e fiabesca ispir\u00f2 artisti come John Ruskin e Claude Monet. Il palazzo, originaria dimora del diplomatico della Serenissima Giovanni Dario, sembra essere stregato. La vita di tutti i suoi proprietari vennero colpita da tragici avvenimenti<\/strong>, non c\u2019\u00e8 da stupirsi del fatto che oggi \u00e8 disabitato. Curiosit\u00e0: negli anni novanta anche il noto regista Woody Allen<\/strong> era intenzionato all\u2019acquisto della propriet\u00e0 ma desistette, forse per scaramanzia?<\/span><\/li>\r\n
    2. Biasio Luganegher: <\/b>la storia di Biasio sembra uscita da uno dei film di Tim Burton<\/strong>. Si dice infatti, che in Riva di Biasio, nei pressi della Stazione santa Lucia, abitasse un macellaio che, udite udite, utilizzasse la carne delle sue povere vittime per realizzare i suoi prelibati spezzatini. Una vera storia dell\u2019orrore<\/strong>, non credi?<\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n
    3. Il bottazzo di Sant\u2019Albano \u2013 Basilica di San Donato di Murano: <\/b>La leggenda del Bottazzo risale all\u2019anno 1000.\u00a0<\/span>Una cassa di marmo venne avvistata mentre galleggiava miracolosamente nei pressi di Burano. Al suo interno erano custodite le spoglie di tre santi, Sant\u2019Orso, San Domenico e Sant\u2019Albano e una botte da cui il vino sgorgava ininterrottamente. La botte venne presto rubata dagli abitanti della vicina isola di Murano<\/strong> che per custodirla la murarono all\u2019interno della Basilica di San Donato<\/strong>. Sarebbe bello riuscire a ritrovare la magica botte e avere vino gratis ad oltranza!<\/li>\r\n
    4. La leggenda del Ponte del Diavolo: <\/b>Rimaniamo nelle isole e ci spostiamo a Torcello<\/strong>, dove si narra che durante la dominazione austriaca una giovane donna fece un patto con il diavolo per poter riabbracciare il suo amato. Il diavolo venne raggirato e ogni 24 dicembre<\/strong> torna al Ponte sotto forma di gatto nero per saldare il suo debito con la giovane donna.<\/li>\r\n
    5. L\u2019isola di Poveglia: <\/b>Non poteva certamente mancare in questa classifica l\u2019isola infestata dai fantasmi<\/strong> pi\u00f9 celebre di tutta la laguna. Si mormora che da secoli l\u2019isola sia infestata dagli spettri dei morti di peste che qui venivano confinati. Mi tremano i denti dalla paura! <\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
